lesstagcpu.dll — LessTag CPU backend (Windows x64)
Pure-CPU LessTag detector. It links no OpenCL, so it runs on machines with no GPU and
no OpenCL runtime installed — the case where cllesstag.dll cannot even be loaded.
Install
Drop lesstagcpu.dll next to DetourLite.exe (or Detour.exe).
Selecting it
DetourLite discovers LessTag backends the same way it discovers RegCore backends. Priority, highest first:
- the detector's own
backendsetting ("cpu","cl", or"auto") - the legacy
clVer = "cpu"setting, kept working for existing configs - the
DETOUR_LESSTAGenvironment variable (cpu,cl, comma-separated for a fallback order) - discovery order — OpenCL first, CPU as the fallback
So with only this DLL present and backend = "auto", the CPU backend is what you get: the
OpenCL backend fails to bind because cllesstag.dll is absent, and resolution falls through.
Aliases accepted anywhere a backend name is taken: cpu, lesstagcpu, lesstag_cpu.
Detection size
The CPU path clamps the detection image to 160 px on the long side (CpuMaxSide). This is
applied automatically once the CPU backend is the resolved one — you do not need to change
factor yourself.
Verifying it loaded
The console prints the bound backend at startup:
Loaded lesstag backend cpu from DetourCore.LocatorTypes.LessTagController+LessTagCpuLibrary, version=lesstagcpu 1.1.0 (hourglass, ...)
and the detector's status line carries the backend name, e.g. [cpu:HD/cl1.2 160x160 x0.250].
Same detections as the OpenCL DLL
This DLL is built from exactly the same lesstag_cpu.cpp that lives inside cllesstag.dll;
splitting it out changed only which library hosts the code. Fed an identical frame, both
return byte-identical results — verified against a synthesized tag before publishing.
