libregcore_gtex_cpu.so — GroundTex CPU backend (Linux x64)
Linux x86_64 build of the CPU ground-texture RegCore. No CUDA, no SYCL, no GPU — PFFFT with AVX2 where the CPU supports it.
This is the Linux counterpart of the Windows regcore_cpu (GtexCPUPlugin) module.
Install
Drop libregcore_gtex_cpu.so beside DetourLite.dll, or in a plugins/GtexCPUPlugin/
subdirectory alongside the managed plug-in. The resolver looks in, in order:
<plugin dir>/libregcore_gtex_cpu.so
<plugin dir>/native/libregcore_gtex_cpu.so
<plugin dir>/GtexCPULib/libregcore_gtex_cpu.so
<plugin dir>/runtimes/<rid>/native/libregcore_gtex_cpu.so
Selecting it
DETOUR_REGCORE=gtex_cpu
DETOUR_REGCORE=cuda,gtex_cpu # GPU first, this as the fallback
Aliases: gtex_cpu, gtex, cpu, regcore_gtex_cpu.
Build
cd NativeLibs/GtexCPUPlugin/GtexCPULib
cmake -S . -B build-linux -DCMAKE_BUILD_TYPE=Release
cmake --build build-linux -j
AVX2 is enabled automatically on x86_64 when the compiler supports it
(-DGTEX_ENABLE_AVX2=OFF to disable). Built and verified on gcc 11.4 / Ubuntu 22.04.
