regcore_cuda.dll — GroundTex CUDA backend (Windows x64)
Ground-texture RegCore on CUDA. The fastest backend when an NVIDIA GPU is present.
Requirements
- NVIDIA GPU, compute capability 6.0 or newer (
sm_60) - CUDA 12.4 runtime (the DLL links
cudart_staticandcufft)
If you have no NVIDIA GPU, use GtexCPUPlugin (Windows) / regcore_cpu_linux (Linux), or
regcore_sycl on Intel integrated graphics.
Install
Drop regcore_cuda.dll next to DetourLite.exe.
Selecting it
DETOUR_REGCORE picks the backend, comma-separated for a fallback order:
DETOUR_REGCORE=cuda # this DLL only
DETOUR_REGCORE=cuda,gtex_cpu # CUDA if it loads, else the CPU plug-in
DETOUR_REGCORE=auto # discovery order
Aliases: cuda, regcore_cuda. The console reports the winner:
RegCore backend candidates: cuda:..., sycl:..., gtex_cpu:...

What changed in this build
Retargeted from CUDA 10.2 / MSVC v142 to CUDA 12.4 / v143 — the old pin is why this
project silently dropped out of Detour.sln and stopped being built at all.
CUDA 12 removed the legacy texture-reference API. The only thing using it was a vendored
OpenCV helper (clahe/common.hpp's bindTexture) with no call sites anywhere in the
project; the project's own kernels already use texture objects. It is now compiled out on
CUDA 12 and newer. No kernel or algorithm changed.
The CUDA version is no longer hardcoded: build with /p:DetourCudaVersion=12.4 (or whatever
you have installed).
